We drive out fear in all its shadings: blue feathers of frozen terror, green feathers of trembling betrayal, yellow feathers of secret crawling away, red feathers of frenzied heartbeat, white feathers of reticence, black feathers of abysmal plunging. Like a gray swarm infecting the air, fragments of alien thoughts rush about and gradually encumber space. Then comes the arrow of spirit, like lightning. It not only reaches the designated person but also purifies space. Indignation of spirit wears away the sheath. 46. Not the destroyers but moldy, conventional virtue is the enemy, manifesting superlative cupidity and love of lie-telling. Such handsome, rosy-cheeked teachers of virtue, so oily in their affection! Without achievement, in resplendent garments starched with slavery! 47. Loss of the true significance of concepts has contributed much to contemporary savagery. People strew pearls about like sand. 48. Even a mistake in daring is more easily remedied than abject mumbling. As a sealed vessel, as an unplundered mountain, as a bow tensed with an arrow--thus stand! As a drink from the vessel is flaming, as the mountain is inexhaustible, as the arrow is lethal--thus act! From accumulations of the lower subtle realm, suffocating gases cut the planet off from planes that could send assistance. A stupendous acceleration is forcing all lines to shake. 51. Striving is: the boat of arhat, the eagle-wing, the cave-key, the heart-armor, the sun-ray, the lotus-blossom, the book of unfolding, the stellar multitude. 56. The best ferment is striving, which results in mastery of the elements, whose basic quality also is striving. Man shall become keeper of the lightning. 58. Courage opens all doors. Each epoch has its keynote, immutable as crystal. It is easier for rays and gases to smite the darkness where has struck the Sword of the World. It is possible to investigate the inner formulas of all epochs and see a spiral of piercing light. 59. Clear brief command is difficult but stronger than a magic wand. It is possible to find My Stone in the desert, but it may be lost again if not immediately lifted up. Lose no hour, learn to hearken! I know people who have let the call escape them on account of their porridge. My arrow is loosened in the hour of need. Exert yourselves to understand where is the great! 65. Our condition for coworkers is complete desire to apply in life Our fundamentals not in mere theory but in practise. The Guru bears the flame of quenchless achieving, his heart lives thereby. 66. Evolution is built upon revolution/explosion/pulsation, which acts spirally. Construction amid revolution is a most crucial moment. A great number of imperfect elements press the structures downward into strata of outworn and poisoned substance. Only utter courage turns the structure upwards into potentiality. Sinking back into old receptacles is inadmissible. 67. What is required in Our Community? First, co-measurement and justice. 68. How not remember the hand that arrested the enemy's dagger? Cedars preserve a healing resin, but one may smile when the heavenly sap goes into bootgrease. 69. Beastly roaring on Earth has repaced song. But how beautiful are the fires of achievement! 70. Manifest understanding of the great era. Uplift the chalice, I summon you. 75. The sowing of generations begins to sprout. 76. When the battle reaches a certain tension, the Guru tears away portions of the aura and casts them at the enemy hordes. 77. Stretch consciousness to grasp the starting point of events, if you wish to be associated with the world's evolution. Enough of errors and lack of understanding in the hour of world tension! It must be understood how carefully one must expend energy--only the right doors lead into the chamber of the common good. 78. The light of greatness is not to be extinguished. Each should be helped to get out of entanglement. I welcome austerity as well as decisiveness. 79. Each three-year period represents a step in consciousness. In all expansions of consciousness lie realization of truth and self-sacrifice. 80. One should not ape others. Precious is each grain of decisiveness. Freedom's discipline distinguishes Our communities. It is needed to be able to replace a complicated plan with a simpler one--never the reverse as Our adversaries do. Ponder how to strengthen your friends. Maintain pure air in your dwellings, project to those who come best wishes, await Us intently. 92. Menacing hands do not reach you when you proceed surrounded by devotion's spiral. It is important to care for the cosmos in each blade of grass. 93. Home is where one is. Neither achievement nor privation nor exaltation but quality of consciousness enables one to break away from a long-occupied place. How can we fly when pinned by a small nail! 94.
