Keep it intact through every passing moment, manifesting as a shimmering shower of God's beautiful light through which nothing human can ever pass. Into this beautiful electric circle of divinely charged energy direct a swift upsurge of the violet fire of freedom's forgiving transmuting flame. Cause the ever-expanding energy of this flame directed downward into the forcefield of my human energies to completely transmute every negative condition into the positive polarity of my own great God Self. Let the magic of its mercy so purify my world with light that all whom I contact shall always be blessed with the fragrance of violets from God's own heart, in memory of the blessed dawning day when all discord--cause, effect, record and memory--is forever changed into the victory of the light and the peace of the Ascended Jesus Christ. I AM now constantly accepting the full power and manifestation of this fiat of light and calling it into instantaneous action by my own God-given free will and the power to accelerate without limit this sacred release of assistance from God's own heart until all men are wholly ascended in the light and free. He and his legions of angels come forth looking for souls who are ready to walk the earth as bearers of ascension's flame as we stand now at the end of this age. The archangel of purity's ray says to us, 'You have a message to trumpet over the plains, over the mountains, the lands and the sea, into the very depths of the souls of the earth. The message of the ascension is the message that you bear--the goal of life. It is the garment that you wear. Not only do you speak it, but you are examples of the ascending souls. 'Therefore, let thy life come into conformity with the principles of the Word. The living example of the ascending one is what the world needs. For I have walked up and down the world this week. I have walked in the streets, in the little towns, and in the large centers of population. I have gazed into the eyes, the hearts and the souls of the people, and I have scarcely found even less than a percentage of the entire earth body who pays any attention to the ascension in the light with an awareness that is adequate even to approach the sword of the ascension flame, the person of the ascension in the hierarch Serapis Bey. 'I find wanting the basic knowledge of the law of the Path, I find wanting even the spark of desire, for mothers have not implanted in their children the desire for eternal life and the certitude that eternal life can be won here and now. And the mothers have not transferred that hope, that dream, that all, because they have not been God-taught. Therefore, I am come to reinvest the earth with the certain knowledge of the goal of the ascension.' The requirement of the hour is for souls of humanity to pay attention to the fires of the ascension as the goal of life. This is the cosmic moment when many shall make their ascension at the close of this life and also when others shall step into the flame and pass through the second death. This is the time of the judgment and the separation of the tares and the wheat. The archangels come to teach, to preach, and also to admonish. By the power of free will which we have been given, each one must decide for himself, as did the prodigal son, what use he will make of the treasures of heaven which we have been fully given. Man must respond wholeheartedly as Mary did to the annunciation of Gabriel, who likewise announces the conception of the Divine Manchild within each one of us. He says, 'The idea of God having planted a seed in the womb of the Virgin subsequently brought forth to manifest Christ-manhood to the ages is also the life-pattern of every man. For it is a drama of the ages, rekindling to each son and daughter the realization of their own personal annunciation and purity, the annunciation toward God-hope. 'For the divine seed is implanted in you when you truly hear my annunciation. Then, if the seed be permitted the beauty of reception and the thought be clean and pure, if the mind be lifted up into the untrammeled continents of the air, if the soul soar into the angelic realms--if men are able, with all of this upraise, to keep their feet on the ground in practical service, then the gestation period will occur even in the swamplands of life where grows the beautiful oriental lotus. The fragrance of God, then, impregnated into the human heart as the living seed of fire, will be the gift to every man. And the miniature Christ-pattern will gestate and be born--Christ formed in you, as Paul long ago declared.' Earth has been called a sorrowful star by angels of the cosmic bands. Yet God came to Terra, and through the message of Gabriel to Mary he announced the birth of his Son, the Christ--a message of hope to all and a thing of beauty and glory forever. Conditions would be much worse were it not for the ascensions which occur every year. As each soul ascends, a certain momentum of that light is re-anchored in the earth to heal and bless all. The ascension is the process whereby all of life is lifted up. Never fear that it is selfish for you to accept your ascension when it is offered to you. Many feel that because there are so many problems in the world still to be solved that they should not accept their own freedom but should remain and serve to set all life free. This is the vow of the bodhisattva. But the path for most of us today in the West is that of the ascension. As each one ascends, he makes way for countless souls who are following behind him to progress up the ladder of the ascension. If you tarry, you may actually be hindering those who are dependent upon your victory in order to fulfill their own fiery destiny. If your divine plan should be to forego the ascension and remain to help earth's evolutions for awhile, your Holy Christ Self and the Lords of Karma will make that decision for you. However, it is wise for each one to desire his ascension at the close of this lifetime, if it be God's will--to ask for it, to work toward it and to accept this gift of God's grace which has been offered us. The masters have told us that there will be mass ascensions from the hillsides at the end of this age. Serapis Bey, the Chohan of the Ascension Flame and Hierarch of the Ascension Retreat at Luxor, Egypt, speaks to each one of us: 'The future is what you make it, even as the present is what you made it. If you do not like it, God has provided a way for you to change it, and the way is through the acceptance of the currents of the ascension flame.' Serapis has written a book called Dossier on the Ascension (see www.tsl.org) in which he outlines the requirements of the ascension and provides a thorough explanation and instruction on the process of the ascension. This volume is a must for any sincere student of the light today. 'Whatever man has done, man can do,' the Queen of Light tells us. 'It is the very lie that purity and the virgin consciousness is inaccessible to mortals that has deprived so-called ordinary men and women of even entering upon the path of striving. For the gap which the false theologians have created between the mass consciousness and the saints and heavenly hosts is so great that mankind give up before they even try. And by the devils themselves, they are cast in the mold of sinners. 'Those aspiring to be free, to be perfect, to be like unto the Virgin Mary, like unto Jesus, like unto Archangel Michael and Gabriel--to you I say, Aspire! Continue to aspire! And become the fullness of the Christ as they also have done, walking in the footsteps of their predecessors in hierarchy. And to you I say, Inspire others to do the same! For the curse of death is broken by the action of light, by the weight of the light.'"
