(vol.2, #14, published by The White Lodge, 1979) 'Now it has long been the concern of Saint Germain and his desire to see hierarchy have at least equal representation and equal voice through the media, through the mass communications, radio and television, through all avenues of release of the culture of the Mother. We are searching for souls who will devote themselves to the portrayal of the divine life, of life as it is lived in the fourteen etheric cities which are above the seas and the deserts of the earth. For these are the cities from whence you come, and these are the cities to which you are taken after the loss of the physical body. And so all of you have dwelled in these cities at one time or another between embodiments. 'By an action of the flame of Jophiel and Christine, we can activate the memory of the life in those etheric cities--the pastel trees, the radiant hues, the frolicking through the grasses violet and blue in color, the games that are played by the children where excellence is the goal rather than competition and pride and where the Christ example is the solution to all forms of problems that eventuate in the ego of the adult and in lack of mastery. 'Oh, the world is so full of so many beautiful things waiting to be outpictured! And so I would tell you of the power of illumination's flame, of the golden flame, to mold your very brain--first of all, to raise you to a level where you are using first 20, 30, 40, 50 percent of your capacity and finally 100 percent of the basic raw material with which you came into embodiment.' You can cut yourself free from the density and stand apart from the mass consciousness! You can obey the admonishment of the Lord, 'Come apart and be a separate people!' You have classified and categorized yourself. You have so accepted the educational methods and especially the testing methods of the schools of the world that you now believe that you have only a certain mental capacity and that your outreach is limited by the intelligence with which you were born. Christine urges you to 'make the effort this day! Abide in the gratitude of divine love for wisdom's flame! Make the effort! Come up higher! And as you rise each step of the way, you will find the trailing garments of the angels of our bands are within the reach of your very hands. And you will reach out to grasp the golden robe of one who tarries in your midst; and you will thereby be blessed forever with a charge of holiness and the desire to be holy because wisdom, above all, is holiness.' Jophiel suggests: 'Let men, then, follow Saint Francis, beloved Kuthumi, in the following of all the avatars of wisdom down through the ages that they may make of their hearts a cradle where the holy Christ-child in illumination's flame may live again and where the angels may bow and fold their hallowed wings of love round about that sacred child, until, grown to full stature and maturity, he may take that Christ-dominion over each life and over the earth.' The Archangel Jophiel's parting words to us are: 'Carry the book! Carry the sword! Use the pen! Speak the Word I AM that I AM!' Mark L. Prophet on the control of the personal aura, a lecture of July 1, 1971: "Don't be so foolish as to release your unformed matrices of wisdom, your unformed matrices of love into power, into action. Stop until you have a complete system. And when you do, then it will automatically--if you will it so--go into action in the arena of life, and things will happen because the God in you carefully programmed and planned the events of your life, carefully radiated his love through you into that matrix, and carefully bestowed the action to the world as a fait accompli. Unless you can do this yourself, nothing has really happened except an abortion of karmic law for which you, and you alone, will be totally responsible. You don't even have to know that you erred. You are still responsible. Of this I assure you because this is the cup of wrath that the world has reaped, and it need not reap it at all if only the world could be taught to utilize this system of taking the increments of cosmic energy brought down into our world from God and sensibly and accurately and simply acting out the role of wisdom--first, love--second, and power--third. Do you know how we do it? We put the cart before the horse. We put the power first, we put the love second, and we put the wisdom last. Isn't that ridiculous? Isn't it ridiculous? but that's the way most of the people do in the world because they act from whimsy and without preparation and without plan. Then, on top of it all, you have the manipulators who fill the world. You have those ignorant manipulators that are a part of the mass group, part of the crowd. They press on you from every side. And they impose their ideas on you which is the worst thing in the world because nine chances out of ten or 99 chances out of 100, these ideas will actually get you into all kinds of trouble whether you realize it or not. For example, there is the problem of the astral world or emotional world. A lot of people have so confused the astral world with the physical, right while they are here, that they don't seem to be able to distinguish between the good and evil of the different levels. First of all, there is a difference between the Divine as he manifests his divinity and his goodness and the consciousness of Adam and Eve as they manifested the concept of good and evil after they ate the fruit of the knowledge from the tree of good and evil. The tree of good and evil is the concept of duality, of separateness of the individual from God. We must be careful, then, not to just eat of the fruit of good and evil. That's what's the matter today with the world. That is how the world is manipulated over and over by the ministers who should be preaching the great truths of Jesus Christ, and because they do not really know him, they are painting a picture of a vicious and angry God from a smoking Sinai saying to them, 'Thou shalt not, thou shalt not, thou shalt not!' Then we find people saying, 'I will, I will, I will,' and because human will usually triumphs in the battle of emotions, people do what they really want to do and what they feel. Then afterward comes the grim reaper, the Lord of Karma, and he imposes his concepts on man; and man becomes further confused because the more confused he get, the more confused he gets. I recognize that his sounds like a Gertrude Steinish remark, but it happens to be very true--the more confused you get because the law is this way: Unto him that hath, shall more be added. To him that hath not, shall be taken away that which he hath. We've discussed this before, but you see the way this works is: the more you get of God, the more you have. The more you get of wisdom, the more wisdom you have. But the foolisher we become, you see, the more foolish we become. It works just that way. You accumulate whatever is your momentum, whatever is your magnetism. So if you are going to command magnetism, you've got to be able to direct its course of action in your personal life. We are alson interested in utilizing the divine intelligence that is native to us as God intended that we should do. One of the problems today in the field of religion is that people become very impractical. They consider more what they are going to get than what they are going to give. And I want to tell you that that is the bane of humanity's existence today. If people would only put again the horse before the cart and say, 'How much can I give to the masters? How much can I give of myself to God? What can I do that I might be saved?' and mean it, then, you see, the whole transforming event of mastering life and destiny would be given to them as God intended. Somebody says, 'Well, I think salvation is purely a gift of God.' Oh, yes, it surely is, but it has to be ratified by our acceptance of that gift. We have to be willing, first of all, to take the bull by the horns. We've got to be able to recognize that this gift that lies in hour hands will always lie there until it blows away unless we grab it. It isn't going to sit around there in potential forever. The first thing you know if we don't use it, the gift will dissipate or go to someone else who will make better use of it. So let's learn how to command our magnetism while we still have the intelligence to be able to do so, and not wait for something to just happen. You say, 'O the grace of God will take care of it.' Well, the grace of God exists and has always existed in our lives. The grace of God existed when we made mistakes, didn't it? The grace of God would exist if we kept on making them. The grace of God would exist for you if you were to actually use it. But for others who were not using it, it wouldn't seem to exist--yet it would exist. Do you see the point? The grace of God is always there. It's the potential, it's the creative energy, it's the intelligence, it's the wisdom. And if you don't use it, I can assure you that someone else's use or misuse of it is not going to help you--not so much directly--but in a way, it does. I want to point out this to you tonight. Let's say that percentage wise, 99% of the people in this world were not using the gift of God and 1% were. Well, if you were moving from half a percent to 1%, you would have improved the status of the world. Now, let's reverse it and say that 99% of the world were using the gift of God and 1% was not. Well, if this was a process where more and more were beginning to cease using the gifts of God, then, you see, the condition of the world would finally become worse instead of better. But if it worked the other way and we were moving toward perfection, and everyone was beginning to use it, eventually, we would reach the point where 100% of the people were using the gifts of God. So you have to understand this law that was taught by the masters before. The idea here is that from a world standpoint, the more you can improve the race, the quicker we can bring in the golden age and thus command the divine magnetism on the whole planet. Nothing succeeds like success. If people would only realize this and stop what I would like to call the malarkey that they are feeding the people today that denies to people the understanding of who and what they are and tries to gain access to their pocketbooks without understanding that they must influence people for God because God is God and because this is good for people! Let's give people what is good for them. Let's give them what is going to help them. Let's give them what is going to change lives. And this is the magnification of the Christ consciousness because that flame now in our hearts is going to expand, and you are going to expand it. So let us try tonight to expand that flame in our heart and watch. Now let's take, for example, the principle of intelligence first. We are going to determine tonight that the intelligence of every person in this room, regardless of his state, regardless of his karma, is going to be given a jolt toward perfection. Okay. You agree with me on this? You agree out there? (Audience says Yes.) All right, we are going to determine that. We're going to ask the mighty Presence of God, the Presence of Life, to do something practical for us as He has already done so many practical things for us and has loved us so very much. So holy wisdom will descend into our midst to make this determination that we are all going to be affected by it. And then we are going to simply solidify this in the concept of the AUM, the OM, or of the Presence of Life, by invoking it. And when we invoke it, we are going to solidify it by the AUM invocation which is a very celestial sound. It's the Amen, the Great Amen. Probably the first word a child speaks when he comes forth from his mother's womb is AUM, and it's the last word, in effect, that a man speaks when he passes on. He is going back 'AUUUUUUMMMMM.' You see. So it's really a beautiful sound. I don't want to be trite about this. I want you to realize that you have your tremendous divine potential. Now, I realize that everybody here does not have the same potential. But we are going to use the power we have and we are going to put it all together. If I light one candle here, it will give so much illumination. If we all light a candle, the night will be illumined just a little bit more. So we are going to light all these candles of our lives, and according to the candle-power we have or the sun-power we have, we are going to determine that we are all going to be benefited in intellect. Let us learn how to govern our thoughts, our feelings, and our lives. Let us learn how to command the earth, and how to command our magnetism. Let us recognize that the flame of the Holy Spirit and the flame of the divine soul of God that is resident in everyone can be expanded in our lives until by its grace, the grace of God, we become illustrious--creators filled with divine potential of our own I AM Presence and determined that nothing shall deter us from the fullness of that grace and that plan of which Destiny herself is made.
